Census Survey data from 1840 to 2017 were used estimate crop livestock species’ product for Maine, USA. These also calculate diversity indicators over time such as species richness, relative abundance, effective number of species, index, evenness, Shannon-Weiner composite entropy index. Maine’s grass-based systems included crops raised feed state’s establishment until 1950’s. Since 1950’s, commodity products (e.g., meat chicken, eggs) busted after initial booms. Three categories where become favorable since 1950’s Maine include livestock, forage/feed, potatoes potato rotation crops.
